The Coming of Dawn
Only the longing brought by your absence,
Has more power than your presence,
But it is a deadly surge,
With which I cannot merge.
Come back soon, Sunshine,
I will embrace that holy moment,
When without any comment,
I worship in your shrine.
Until then, I fight the shadows,
Cast by your eyes’ lingering moonlight,
Armed with the memory of your sight.
I see dawn, you must be near,
From now on, not a single tear,
In the future born off our vows.
