AB Genesis – UI -Editor – Using Effects

Overview

We have seen previously what effects can be used and how to assigned them to characters and foleys. Additionally, they can be used over a series of text blocks or for a dialog.

For the same of an example, let’s pretend the following line is heard over the phone. The effect “Over the Phone” was created to apply a -6dB volume with a Reverb effect. Selecting the block of text and applying the effect “On the Phone” will look like this.

As likely surmised, right-clicking on either end will allow the user to Clear the effect. More options are available in the Selecting Blocks and available actions section.
